  • Powder metallurgy iron-based friction materials were prepared on 45# steel by sprinkling powder process.The effect of parameters of compacting and sintering process on the properties of these materials were investigated and the bond strength between friction material and steel-backing was mainly studied.The optimization of process parameters is pre-sintered at 1 050 ℃ for 2 h,pressed by 500 MPa,then sintered at 1 030 ℃ for 2 h,the sample showed high hardness,suitable density and good bond strength.
