Abstract
The recrystallization texture and microstructure of Ti-15-3 alloy with different heat treatments were investigated by means of orientation distribution function (ODF) analysis and optical microscope. The results show that in the cold-rolled sheets recrystallized in conventional annealing at the solution temperature,γ fiber textures were formed during recrystallization and then became much visible with the growth of the grain. In addition,114 fiber textures were also generated. In the salt-bath annealing, the process of recrystallization was accelerated, and γ fiber textures developed during generally growing process of the recrystallized grains. The intensive and random textures, mainly Goss component, were formed after stage annealing.
