    Preparation of CuFeMnO4 Spinel Compound Oxide by EDTA Sol-gel

    • CuFeMnO4 spinel compound oxide was prepared by ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid (EDTA) sol-gel method.TG-DTA,IR,XRD and SEM were employed to characterize the decomposition process of the gel,the phase structure,the micro-morphology and solar absorptance of the CuFeMnO4 spinel compound oxide powders.The results show that CuFeMnO4 spinel compound oxide transformed from the gel completely at above 442 ℃.The average crystallite size of powders obtained directly from heating the gel at 600 ℃ was about 14 nm,but the nanocrystallites reunited into larger particles.The absorptance in 200-2 500 nm wavelength range from the obtained CuFeMnO4 spinel compound oxide powders was about 85.435%.
