Resurfacing Welding Repair for Pinch Roll of the Hot-rolled Plate Coiler

According to the service condition,pinch rolls of the hot-rolled plate coiler were repaired by submerged-arc surfacing welding process with YJ254-S and YJ245-S as flux-cored wires separately.Microstructure,properties and practical application effects were compared.The results show that the properties of YJ245-S are better than those of YJ254-S.Service life of the pinch roll repaired with YJ254-S is about 1 year.However,the service life of the pinch roll repaired with YJ245-S is 1.5-2 times of the former.
