    Optimization of the Heat-treatment of Glass-ceramics Prepared from Steel Slag and Fly Ash

    • Making use of the chemical composition complementarity between steel slag and fly ash,diopside-based glass ceramic was made from steel slag and fly ash by sintering process.The effect of process parameters on the properties of glass-ceramics was studied and the best process parameters were obtained through orthogonal test.The results show that the order of factors affecting flexural strength is sintering time,crystallization temperature,sintering temperature and crystallization time.And the best process parameters are crystallization at 790 ℃ for 1.5 h and sintering at 1 115 ℃ for 2 h.
