Abstract
AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet was immersed in simulated body fluid, the change regulars of its corrosion behavior and tension properties with immersion time were studied. The results show that the elastic modulus and elongation exponentially decreased with the increase of immersion time, which was consistent with the evolution of corrosion rate. After immersing for 28 days, the elastic modulus and elongation dropped by around 10% and 20%, respectively, while the tensile strength declined no more than 5%.
