Modify the Performance of the Active Carbon in Dry Mode and at Room Temperature

Abstract
The roller vibration milling with variable frequency(milling speed) was used to modify the active carbon at room temperature and in dry mode.Orthogonal test of 3 factors:the vibration frequency,the milling time,and the additive agent,impacting the performance of the active carbon was conducted.Study shows that properly lowing the vibration frequency is advantage to enhance the capacity,and the best milling speed in the scope of the experiments is 700 r/min.The optimal milling time is 1 h and further prolonged milling time may be useless.The additive of MnO2 can significantly increase the electrical capability to 252 F/g.
