    A New Measurement Method for Cell Dimension of Microcellular Foaming Material of Polypropylene

    • Spectrophotometer was used to measure the visible light reflectivity on the surface of foaming polypropylene material to quantitatively characterize the cell dimension and dispersing state of the foaming material.The relationship between the cell dimension and visible light reflectivity was discussed.The visible light reflectivity of the surface of polypropylene foaming material reflect foaming instance.When the reflectivity is greater,the cell is smaller,and the reverse is true.Through best square approximation the relationship between cell diameter y and reflectivity x was established as following:y=-12.772 8 x+798.553 7.
