Abstract

The reason of the fracture of some high strength bolts which were applied to aeronautical facility was analyzed.The results show that the high strength bolt is permeated by hydrogen and the hydrogen enbrittlement fracture occurres under stress.The hydrogen trap and hydrogen-eliminating treatment are discussed.
