    Effect of Equal-channel Angular Pressing on Structure and Properties of Cu-Ni-Be Alloy

    • The effect of equal-channel angular pressing (ECAP) on the structure and properties of the Cu-Ni-Be alloy before and after aying was investigated.An ultra-fine uniform grains with an average grain size of about 05 μm are achieved after 8 passes of ECAP.The hardness reaches 198 HB.ECAP could accelerate precipitating.Cold deforming by ECAP before aging is beneficial to improvement of the microhardness due to the accelerating the precipitation of the secondary phase in the alloy.The softening temperature has obviously lowered after the treatment of ECAP.
