    Characteristic of Equiaxed Alpha Phase in TC4 Titanium Alloy after Hot Isostatic Pressing and Effect of It on Tensile Properties

    • Hot isostatic pressing was carried on casted TC4 alloy,the characteristics of equiaxed alpha phase in TC4 titanium alloy and the effect of it on tensile properties were studied,and the tensile fracture also were analyzed.The results show that,after hot isostatic pressing,equiaxed alpha phase with size of 5 μm formed at triangle grain boundaries possibly,the small amounts of equiaxed alpha phase had little effect on the tensile properties.A platform area composed by amounts of dimples was founded on the tensile fracture of the alloy with equiaxed alpha phase.
