Preparation and Properties of Metal Rubber/Rubber Composites

In order to improve the corrision resistance and stiffness of the metal rubber,metal rubber/rubber composites were prepared by composite molding technique using natural rubber and synthetic rubber.And then the compressive test was carried out.The results show that the composite molding stress had no obvious relation with rubber types,but approximately linear relation with the density of the composite.The specimen thickness decreased after compounded,its variation had linear relation with metal rubber density.Compared with metal rubber/silicon rubber composite,static stiffness of the metal rubber/nature rubber was increased by 14.8%.
