Effect of 3 GPa Pressure Treatment on Order-disorder Phase Transformation of Cu-Zn Alloy

Abstract
The phase transformation temperature of Cu-Zn alloy from ordered β′ phase to disordered β phase after 3 GPa pressure treatment was measured by means of differential scanning calorimeter(DSC).The phase transformation activation energy was calculated by Kissinger method.The effect of high pressure treatment on the phase tranformation was discussed.The results show that after 3 GPa pressure treatment,the phase transformation temperature of Cu-Zn alloy from ordered phase β′ phase to disordered β phase decreased,the phase transformation temperature range and the activation energy both decreased.
