Corrosion Resistance and Heavy Metal Migration Behavior of Three Kinds Stainless Steels in Food Contact Simulative Medias

    • Corrosion resistance and heavy metal migration behavior of three kinds of stainless steels in food contact simulative media (4% HAc solution with and without chlorine) at different temperatures were analysed by electrochemical test and heavy metal migration test. The results show that the self-corrosion current density of SUS201 and SUS304 obviously increased when they were immersed in 4% HAc solution at 100 ℃, compared to that of at 30 ℃, and that of SUS443 exhibited little increase. The order of heavy metal migration quantity, from low to high, was SUS443, SUS304 and SUS201. The increase of Fe migration quantity was not obviously after SUS304 and SUS443 were immerged in 4% HAc solution at below 50 ℃ for 180 min, and the migration quantity increased quickly when temperature exceeded 70 ℃.
