    Corrosion Resistance and Surface Area of Closed-cell Aluminum

      Abstract
    • The model of real surface area(SR) and the corrosion resistance of closed-cell foamed aluminum were studied.When the average diameter is certain,the foamed aluminum with higher porosity has larger real surface area,and when the porosity is certain,the foamed aluminum with smaller average diameter has larger real surface area.The corrosion resistance of foamed aluminum is worse than that of compact Al and decreas remarkably with the increase of the porosity when the average diameter is certain.
