    Structure and Capacities of Electrodeposited Fe-W-Al2O3 Nano-composite Coatings

    • A new micrometre-thick layers of Fe-W-Al2O3 nano-composites have been obtained by composite electrodeposition technology.We characterized the coatings with SEM,EDS and X-ray diffraction.Hardness and anti-wear properties was also investigated systematically.The results states the composite coatings presented in an obvious amorphous characteristics,low internal stress,and high microhardness under the dispersing strengthened effect of the nano-particles.Especially,the composite coating improves the smoothness and uniformity of the electrodeposited layers,and the anti-wear property of it was two times of that Fe-W alloy.
