Comparision of Corrosion Products and Corrosion Resistance of Two Kinds of Automotive Galvanized Steel Sheets in Marine Atmosphere

Corrosion products of automotive electrogalvanized steel sheet and hot-dip galvanized steel sheet were analyzed and compared after marine atmospheric exposure for two years.The results show that both the corrosion products were compact and had the similar phase composition.Electrogalvanized steel and hot-dip galvanized steel had similar corrosion resistance when the thickness of the coated layer was the same.
