Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Ni-P/SiC,Ni-P/WC Nano-composite Coatings Prepared by Electro-brush Plating

The Ni-P/SiC,Ni-P/WC nano-composite coatings were prepared by electro-brush plating.Experiments have been carried out to study the surface morphology,phases and element distribution of nano-coatings by means of SEM,XRD,electronic probe,etc.In comparison to the conventional Ni-P coating,the co-deposited nano-coating has denser microstructure,higher micro-hardness and wearability.
