    Preparation and Performance of Stainless Steel Filter Tube Porous Materials

    • Stainless steel filter tube porous materials were prepared by slurry casting using gas-atomized powders of austenitic stainless steel 316L.The influences of sintering process on filter performance of sintered samples were studied,such as open porosity,aperture and air permeability.The stainless steel filter tube was sintered in vacuum (10-3 Pa),kept for 3 hours at the sintering temperature 1 300 ℃,and then furnace cooled to room-temperature.The results show that open porosity is 38.05%, the diameter of hole is about 1~65 μm,and the average value is 5.78 μm.
