Research Status of MCrAlY Coatings Prepared by Laser Cladding

Abstract

Abstract

The research status of MCrAlY coatings prepared by laser cladding is reviewed. The existent problems are presented and the development prospects, such as preparation of particle reinforced composite coatings, nanostructured coatings, gradient coatings, crack control of clad coatings, process parameters optimization and numerical simulation of laser cladding process are also discussed. And the future development direction is also prospected.
