    Tribological Properties of Carbon Nanotubes/Pb-Sn Alloy Composite Coatings

    • Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)/Pb-Sn alloy composite coatings were fabricated by electrodepositing in the plating solutions with different CNTs contents.Friction coefficient and weight loss of the composite coatings were measured under different loads.The worn morphology and wear mechanism were analyzed.The results indicate that the CNTs/Pb-Sn alloy composite coatings had smaller friction coefficient and weight loss than these of ordinary Pb-Sn alloy coating under the same condition.The coating had the smallest friction coefficient and weight loss as the concentration of CNTs was 2 g·L-1.The wear mechanism of the composite coating was abrasive wear,and the wear mechanism of the Pb-Sn alloy coating without CNTs was adhesive wear.
