    Friction and Wear Properties of CuTeSeFe Alloy under Dry Sliding Condition

    • The friction and wear behavior of CuTeSeFe alloy as well as the effects of load and sliding speed on the friction and wear properties of the alloy under dry sliding conditions were investigated by ring-disc friction and wear tester.The worn surface morphologies were observed by SEM.The results show that with the increase of load the friction coefficient of the alloy scarcely changed,but it increased with the increase of sliding speed.The wear rate of the alloy increased with the increase of load and sliding speed.Plough wear and adhesive wear were the main wear mechanism of the alloy at low loads and low sliding speed,and abrasive wear and adhesive wear were aggravated at high sliding speed and heavy loads.
