    Fatigue Life and Fracture Morphology of 2A12 Aluminum Alloy Corroded by Different Methods

    • The pre-corrosion fatigue test and interactive corrosion and fatigue test for 2A12 aluminum alloy was carried to comparing the thecretical fatigue life with the factual fatigue life under interactive corrosion and fatigue conditions, and the ftacture morphology under corrosion condition were observed. The result show that the difference between theoretical and factual fatigue life exceeded 25% when the interval periods was 4 d. Many dimples was found on the fracture of pre-corrosion fatigue sample, and the fracture of alternative corrosion and fatigue sample presented very irregular corrosion morphology.
