  • A metal-cored wire for submerged arc welding was developed,which could be used for welding 0Cr19Ni9 stainless steel with flux HJ260.Its mechanical properties,intergranular corrosion tendency and operative performance were compared with those of H0Cr21Ni10 solid wire.The weld joint of metal-cored wire GDMA308 did not show the phenomenon of “black skins”,and its slag detachability was perfect.In addition,its mechanical and corrosive performance could meet the standard of GB/T 17853-1999 and GB 4334.5-2000 respectively.
