    Wear and Friction Properties of PTFE-based Composites Filled with MoS2,CdO and FEP

    • The composite of polytetrafluroethene(PTFE) filled with MoS2,CdO and FEP was prepared by mechanical mixing,compressing molding and sintering.Under dry friction condition,the wear property of PTFE composites was studied using an MM-2000 wear tester.The frictional surfaces of the composites were examined by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The wear and friction properties of the PTFE composites without FEP are better than those with FEP.When CdO is 22.5vol% and MoS2 is 7.5vol%,the friction and wear properties of PTFE composites are the best.
