Optimization of Resistance Spot Welding Parameters of 1000 MPa Grade Dual-Phase Steel Plate wsth Thickness of 2 mm

Abstract
It was carried out that the resistance spot welding process with different conditions of the domestic 1000 MPa grade dual-phase steel plate with thickness of 2 mm for automotive. The microstructure, mechanical properties of the weld seam and the fracture morphology were analyzed. The process parameters were optimized. The results show that the optimum welding process under the experimental conditions was obtained, which was welding current of 12 kA, welding time of 12cyc (0.24 s) and welding pressure of 3.5 kN. And the fracture mode of the weld seam was mainductile fracture.
