    Tribological Properties of Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn Alloy

    • The tribological properties of Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn alloy sliding against GCr15 steel were investigated by using MMU-200 friction and wear tester,and the morphology of worn surface of the specimen was observed by using SEM.The results show that the wear rate of Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn alloy increased with the increase of load and friction speed.The friction coefficient decreased with the increase of friction speed,and first increased and then decreased with the increase of load.The wear mechanism of Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn alloy is mainly abrasive wear and adhesive wear.Pb phase in the alloy exhibited good lubrication,so it is favorable to enhance the wear resistance of the alloy.
