New Development of Key Materials for Ultra-supercritical Power Generation Boiler

  • The key of the ultra-supercritical power generation development is the high temperature materials properties.In the present paper,the alloying and main properties of ferritic steels,austenitic steels and Ni-based alloys used for the ultra-supercritical power generation are discussed.It is indicated that the resistance to steam oxidation and fire-side corrosion becomes more important with the increase of the boiler parameters,which advances the development of new austenite steels and Ni based alloys.Moreover,with the application of ultra-supercritical technique,lots of fundamental experiments are needed to accumulate the data and experience for the relative materials,especially the long-term experiments are needed.
