Abstract

The reason for the plenty of scratch on the surface of the cold rolled steel sheet was analyzed with optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and energy disperse spectrometer.The results show that the steel sheet was scratched by the protuberance on the work roll of the former passes or the conveying table roller during the cold rolling and thus led to the formation of defects.
