    Rapid Prototyping Manufacturing of Ceramic Parts Based on Quick Solidification of Wax

    • An approach for rapid prototyping and manufacturing of ceramic parts was developed based on the quick solidification of wax.After making the wax board by melting wax and then carving the needed graphics out from the wax board according to the computer design,the wax slurry was casted in the carved part.Finally,the laminated green body of ceramic parts produced by repeating the above steps was sintered to get the final products.The strength values of the cross-section of laminated sample and un-laminated sample were equivalent and there were no lamination of the laminated sample.This new technique is cheap,reliable,and significant to the manufacture of complicated ceramic parts.
