Meso-mechanical Constitutive Model for Uniaxial Time-Dependent Ratcheting of SiCP/6061Al Composites at High Temperature

    • Based on the previous experimental research and meso-mechanical constitutive framework, a new meso-mechanical cyclic visco-plastic constitutive model was obtained by introducing a thermal recovery term into the newly developed non-linear kinematic hardening rule. With the proposed model, the time-dependent monotonic tension and uniaxial ratcheting behaviors of SiCP/6061Al composites at high temperature (300 ℃) were simulated. The results show that the capability of the proposed model to predict the uniaxial ratcheting of SiCP/6061Al composites and its time-dependent features at high temperature was improved effectively by introducing the thermal recovery term.
