Probability of Increasing Design Coefficient of X70 Pipeline for Natural Gas Transportation

The use of high strength pipeline was summarized.The mechanical properties of X70 pipeline steel used in West-east Pipeline Project were analyzed.The variation of API specification in different times and the differences between API specification and corporation specification were studied.The probability of increasing design coefficient was discussed in detail.Under current conditions,it is possible to increase design coefficient of X70 pipeline little by little.
