    Microstructure and Wear Property of 42CrMo Steel Grind-Hardening Strengthened Layer

    • The grind-hardening test was applied on 42CrMo steel, and the microstructure and wear resistance of the grind-hardening strengthened layer were studied. The results show that the microstructure of grind-hardening strengthened layer was mainly lath martensite and the microhardness was above 700 HV. Comparing with the substrate, the wear property of the grind-hardening strengthened layer was improved obviously.
