    Effects of Tensile Deformation on Mechanical Properties of Electrodeposited Nickel Coating

    • The electrodeposited nickel coating was deformed with different elongations and hardness,elastic modulus and creep property of nickel coating were investigated by nanoindentation.The results revealed that the hardness (from 9.37 GPa to 6.13 GPa) and the elastic modulus (from 242.51 GPa to 116.23 GPa) both decreased with the increase of deformation.However the creep displacement increased with the increase of deformation (from 1.25 mm to 4.52 mm).
