  • The cored wire used to manufacture amorphous coating was self developed,and amorphous Fe-based coatings were prepared by arc spraying technology.The phase composition,microstructure,properties of thermal stability and cross section hardness of the coatings were studied and analyzed.The coating’s abrasive wear-resistant property at 450 ℃ was also studied.The results show that the coating had a high content of amorphous phase,layered distribution and a dense and uniform structure.The crystallization process in the coating would not occur at the temperatures below 580 ℃.The average hardness of the coating was 1 356.0 HV.The coating had good abrasive wear-resistance at 450 ℃,after 10 h,the relative wear-resistant property of the coating was 5.1 times of that of GCr15 bearing steel.
