    Mechanical and Wear Property of ZA35-3.5%Mn Produced by Spray Deposition

    • Mechanical and wear properties of ZA alloys with addition of alloying agent Mn prepared by spray deposition process and hot extrusion were tested.The microstrcture and surface morphology of ZA35-3.5%Mn alloy were observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The phases were investigated using XRD.The results show that the alloy’s properties made by spray deposition are better than those of cast alloy.The tensile strength is 484.2 MPa.The structure is homogeneous and the crystal grain is fine.The wear properties of ZA35-3.5Mn alloy formed by spray deposition are improved through adding Mn and forming hard phase.
