Abstract
Ultrasonic attenuation capacity of cellular Al alloy foam were studied.The results show that it is a light material that have good ultrasonic attenuation capacity between 1 MHz and 10 MHz.Ultrasonic attenuation coefficient α of cellular Al alloy foam increases with decreasing pore diameter d,with increasing porosity Ps and with increasing specific surface Sv.
