  • Ni-based coating was prepared by irradiating the mixture powders of Ni-Cr-B-Si on 16Mn mild steel.The microstructure and hardness of the coating were examined.The effect of laser power on the microstructure and property of the Ni-based coating were investigated.The Ni-based alloy layer could be divided into dendrite and equiaxial crystal.The hardness was 400-500 HV.The γ-Ni structure and preferential orientation were observed in the laser cladding.
