    Effect of Modification of the Expanded Graphite on Adsorptive Properties to Formaldehyde

    • Using natural flake graphite as raw material,expanded graphite was prepared by double oxidation method and modified with ammonia.Adsorption properties to formaldehyde and effects of expanding ratio,immersing time and immersing amount of the expanded graphite on the aolsorption properties were studied.The results showed that adsorption properties to formaldehyde of the expanded graphite were promoted rapidly after modification by ammonia.Expanding ratio of 350 mL·g-1,immersing time of 6 h and immersing amount of 20 mL/100 mg were the best technic parameters.
