Abstract
The texture and carbon solution of low carbon Al-killed steel tinplate during hot rolling, cold rolling, continuous annealing, temper rolling and tinning were studied by X-ray diffraction and internal friction inverted torsion pendulum. The results show that the intensity of 001〈110〉 texture decreased during production process, while the γ fiber texture, mainly 111〈112〉 texture, increased. The carbon solution decreased after the hot rolled plate was cold rolled and increased slightly after annealing, and then the carbon solution further decreased after temper rolling, and increased slightly again because heating during tinning process.
