Influential Factors of Resistance to HIC of X65 Pipeline Steels
-
Abstract
The experimental standard of GB 8650-2006 was adopted to study the resistance to hydrogen induced cracking(HIC) of X65 pipeline steels with different compsitions and thicknesses. The main influential factors of resistance to HIC were analyzed by optical microscopy, SEM and EPMA.The results show that the chemical composition segregation decreased the resistance to HIC. The hard structure band which was composed of martensite and austentite was immediate cause for step-like crack, and resistance to HIC of pipeline steel was closely related with the degree of microstructure uniformity.
