Influence of Dilution for Water-base Lubricants to the Quality of Magnesium Alloy Casts

Water-base lubricants are beneficial to the die casting process,but the dilution for the lubricants has always been neglected.The influence of dilution for water-base lubricants to the quality of magnesium alloy casts had been studied.The results show that dilution contained Ca2+ at a certain extent is helpful to casts.Pure water+CaCl2 for dilution without impurity not only be operated conveniently,but also can improve the eligibility percent.
