    Preparation of Stainless Powder Slurry through Gelcasting of Gelatin and Properties of Green Body

    • The slurry was prepared by using 316L stainless steel powders as raw material, sodium alginate as dispersant and gelatin as agglomerant, the effects of solid content, dispersant content and agglomerant content on fluidity of the slurry and bending strength of the gelcasted green body were studied. Results show that the viscosity of slurry was smaller than 1 000 MPa·s when pH value of slurry was 7, solid content ratio was 56 vol%, dispersant ratio was 1.0 wt%, agglomerant ratio was 0.8 wt%, and the bending strength of the green body prepared according to above parameters could reach 3.6 MPa after being dried at room temperature.
