Abstract
Copper-graphite composites with various graphite contents were prepared by power metallurgy process, and the effects of friction velocity and graphite contents on the tribological properties of the composites were studied with a self-made pin-disk tester. The results show that the friction coefficient and current-carrying efficiency of the composites decreased with the increase of the graphite content, and the wear rate reduced at first and then increased, giving the minimum when graphite content was 10wt%. When the friction velocity rose, the friction coefficient and wear rate gradually increased, but the current-carrying efficiency performed different tendency with various graphite contents.
