    Preparation of Cu Coated α-Al2O3 Nanocomposite Powders by Liquid Precipitation Method

    • Cu coated α-Al2O3 nanocomposite powders were synthesized by heterogeneous precipitation coating process,with Al2O3,CuSO4·5H2O and nanometer aluminum powders as raw materials.The temperature and pH value of the reaction system were investigated.XRD,XPS,TG/DSC,Zeta potential and TEM were used to analyze the composition,thermo chemistry and microstructure of the composite powders.The results showed that nanometer Cu coated α-Al2O3 composite powders could be obtained if the precipitation reaction temperature was 40 ℃ and time was 4 h.The coating Cu particles had a size about 10 nm with a spherical shape.
