Influence of Hot Extrusion on Mechanical Properties and Microstructure of Al2O3p/6061 Composite
30vol%Al2O3p/6061 composite was hot extruded in ratio of 10∶1 successfully.Tensile tests were performed to as-cast and extruded Al2O3p/6061 composite at room temperature.And microstructures were observed by optical microscope and TEM.It is show that the mechanical properties and microstructure are obviously improved by hot extrusion.
