Effect of Cumulative Rolling Reduction on Properties of TA1/Q345 Compound Plate

    • Q345 steel plate and TA1 titanium plate were assembled and vacuumized to prepare titanium-steel compound plate, and the interfacial properties of commpound plates with different cumulative rolling reductions were studied. The results show that the lower reduction was harmful for the fresh surface forming and made bonding properties bad. The TiC and Fe-Ti intermetallic compounds broke and scattered with the increase of cumulative rolling reduction, and the propertices of the compound plate. The shear strength, tensile strength, elongation and cold bended combination strength of the compound plate with cumulative rolling reduction of 90% were 169 MPa, 560 MPa, 34.5% and 100%, respectively.
