    Research Progress on Carbon Nanotubes Cutting Technologies

    • The research progress on the methods of cutting carbon nanotubes (CNTs) at home and abroad was mainly elaborated, and the methods included physical methods (ball grinding method and ultrasonic degradation method), chemical methods (liquid-phase oxidation method and solid-phase oxidation method) and combined methods (electronic induction cutting method, ball grinding and liquid-phase oxidation of cutting method and multi-step control method). The basic mechanism of the various methods are explained briefly and compared, and the research indirections needed to do in the future are also prospected.
