Preparation and Supercapacitive Performance of Manganous Oxide Electrode Material
-
Abstract
Taking manganese acetate and oxalate as raw materials to prepare manganese oxalate precursor, and the precursor was roasted at argon atmosphere to obtain manganous oxide with supercapacitive characteristics. The TG-DSC curves and XRD patterns of manganese oxalate precursor, and the SEM morphology, EDS results and electrochemical performance were analyzed. The results show that manganous oxide with face-centered cubic structure was obtained by roasting manganese oxalate precursor at argon atmosphere. The small granular manganous oxide with diameter 0.5-2.0 μm was got after roasting at 500 ℃, its capacitive characteristics distributed in the range of 0-0.8 V. The specific capacity was about 49.7 F·g-1 under the condition of 1 mol·L-1 Li2SO4 solution and 0.1 A·g-1current density, and the lost rate of specific capacitance was only 1.1% after 200 charge-discharge cycles, so it could be used as anode material of supercapacitor.
