    Comparison for Microstructure and Properties of Several Pre-hardened Plastic Mould Steels

    • The microstructure observation, hardness testing, wear and corrosion resistance testing were performed to compare the microstructure and properties of five typical pre-hardened plastic mould steels(CENA1, S136H, 2316ESR, 718H and 738H). The results show that the normal microstructure of the pre-hardened plastic mould steels was tempered sorbite. Considering both wear resistance and corrosion resistance, S136H and 2316ESR steels had more advantageous than CENA1 steel, the wear resistance of S136H steel was the best and the corrosion resistance of 2316ESR steel was the best.
